博士，研究員，物理海洋學(xué)專(zhuān)業(yè)；研究方向涉及海洋環(huán)流與氣候變化、海洋中尺度渦、區域海洋模式系統、臺風(fēng)、海氣交換等領(lǐng)域。于蘭州大學(xué)獲得學(xué)士、碩士和博士，之后在青島海洋大學(xué)做博士后。曾在空軍后勤學(xué)院任教。分別于2008年和2011年赴美國加州大學(xué)洛杉磯分校做訪(fǎng)問(wèn)學(xué)者；2006-2009年浙江海洋學(xué)院任兼職教授、院長(cháng)。中國海洋學(xué)會(huì )海氣相互作用專(zhuān)業(yè)委員會(huì )委員、中國氣象學(xué)會(huì )氣候學(xué)專(zhuān)業(yè)委員會(huì )委員。承擔過(guò)國家自然科學(xué)基金、國家973計劃、中國科學(xué)院知識創(chuàng )新工程重大項目等10余項。《Chinese Physics Letters》、《Advances in Atmospheric Sciences》、《Acta Oceanologica Sinica》、《Journal of Ocean University of China》、《海洋學(xué)報》、《熱帶海洋學(xué)報》等學(xué)術(shù)刊物的評審。發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文30余篇，合譯著(zhù)1部。
