陳桂英，1963年3月生，女，博士生導師。《現代物理》、《應用物理》編委。1999年天津大學(xué)流體力學(xué)湍流專(zhuān)業(yè)獲碩士學(xué)位，2005年南開(kāi)大學(xué)凝聚態(tài)物理專(zhuān)業(yè)獲博士學(xué)位，其間1991.10-1992.10為英國諾丁漢大學(xué)訪(fǎng)問(wèn)學(xué)者。主要研究工作為臺風(fēng)對中尺度渦的能量和初級生產(chǎn)力的影響，海洋湍流混合觀(guān)測及其參數化方案的建立，內波演變機制的研究。主持和參與的科研項目包括國家自然科學(xué)基金、“863”、中國科學(xué)院知識創(chuàng )新工程項目等10余項，在《Optics letters》、《Geophysical Research Letters》、《Journal of applied physics》等多種刊物上共發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文50篇，其中SCI收錄34篇，一篇被美國物理學(xué)會(huì )選為亮點(diǎn)文章,兩篇論文被選為領(lǐng)域前10，論文被SCI引用200余次，H-index 7。擁有發(fā)明、實(shí)用新型專(zhuān)利各一項。
