    　　嚴幼芳，1979年06月30日出生，廣西賓陽(yáng)人。

2001年7月畢業(yè)于安徽淮北師范大學(xué)物理系，獲得理學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位；同年9月份進(jìn)入中國科學(xué)院海洋研究所物理海洋專(zhuān)業(yè)攻讀碩、博學(xué)位；2006年7月中國科學(xué)院研究生院獲理學(xué)博士學(xué)位。同年7月份進(jìn)入中國科學(xué)院海洋研究所工作，任助理研究員；2008年10月被評為副研究員；2009年2月-2009年8月香港城市大學(xué)訪(fǎng)問(wèn)學(xué)者。2012.05-2012.11 美國佛羅里達州立大學(xué)The Center for Ocean-Atmospheric Prediction Studies , 高級訪(fǎng)問(wèn)學(xué)者。
