主要從事模式算法開(kāi)發(fā)以及南海環(huán)流的動(dòng)力學(xué)研究。研究成果主要包括以下幾個(gè)方面:開(kāi)發(fā)了具有守恒特性的交替蛙跳格式以及正斜壓分離算法;揭示了南海環(huán)流年際變化及其調制下的跨陸坡水體交換的多尺度特征,南海風(fēng)生環(huán)流年際變化及其效應兩方面取得了一些創(chuàng )新性研究成果;發(fā)現南海環(huán)流異常能夠調制上層熱力狀態(tài)并進(jìn)而影響區域氣候。近年來(lái)主持國家自然基金2項、廣州市科技計劃1項、參加國家自然基金重點(diǎn)項目1項,國家重點(diǎn)研發(fā)項目1項。獲評2019年廣州市珠江科技新星、榮獲2016年度廣州市科學(xué)技術(shù)進(jìn)步一等獎。
