施平，男，1957年2月6日生，福建省福州市人，漢族，研究生學(xué)歷，理學(xué)博士，現任中科院南海海洋研究所研究員。主要學(xué)術(shù)兼職包括：中國海洋學(xué)會(huì )常務(wù)理事及海洋遙感專(zhuān)業(yè)委員會(huì )副主任，國家可持續發(fā)展實(shí)驗區專(zhuān)家委員會(huì )委員，《中國科學(xué)（D輯）》、《海洋學(xué)報》編委等。
1978年2月－1982年1月：山東海洋學(xué)院（現中國海洋大學(xué)）物理海洋專(zhuān)業(yè)學(xué)生，獲理學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位；
1982年10月-1988年1月：英國南安普敦大學(xué)海洋系研究生，獲理學(xué)博士學(xué)位
1988年4月-1991年1月：青島海洋大學(xué)博士后、副教授；
1991年1月-1994年7月：中科院南海海洋研究所副研究員；
1994年8月-目前：中科院南海海洋研究所研究員；
1996年9月-2000年10月：中科院南海海洋研究所所長(cháng)助理、副所長(cháng)；
2000年11月-2006年12月：中科院南海海洋研究所所長(cháng)；
2006年6月-2009年11月：中科院煙臺海岸帶研究所籌建組長(cháng)；
2009年12月-2011年11月：中科院煙臺海岸帶研究所所長(cháng)。
